Columbus Police Seek Public Help in North Linden Homicide Investigation
Columbus police have identified the victim of a December homicide in the North Linden neighborhood on the city’s northeast side and are appealing to the public for help in finding the suspect.
On December 6, officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 2600 block of Osceola Avenue just before 1 p.m. Upon arrival, they found 27-year-old Jaylun Gallagher with a gunshot wound. Gallagher was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following a preliminary investigation, police have ruled Gallagher’s death a homicide. However, no suspect has yet been identified. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
