Mohamed Hussein Roble Passport Denial: Somali Minister Rejects Claims

Somalia’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ali Mohamed Omar Balcad, has denied former Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble’s claims that the government blocked his diplomatic passport.

Balcad stated that South Africa confirmed Roble’s invitation, contradicting accusations of obstruction. However, MP Abdullahi Arab alleged that Balcad personally blocked the clearance letter, forcing some delegates to miss the trip.

Despite the delays, Roble traveled using his Swedish passport, accompanied by several officials, some using European passports.
