Southwest Airlines is expanding its Columbus routes! Get ready for more flights to San Diego, Dallas, and Orlando starting this fall. Where are you flying next?

Southwest Airlines Expands their Services

Columbus, OH – Southwest Airlines is set to enhance its flight offerings from John Glenn Columbus International Airport to multiple major cities, according to a recent press release from the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.

Starting in October, Southwest will upgrade its Columbus-to-San Diego route from seasonal weekly flights to near-daily service, responding to high demand.

The airline is also increasing flights to:

  • Dallas Love Field – Two flights per day
  • Orlando – Five flights per day

Currently, Southwest operates 22 non-stop routes from Columbus, including:

  • Atlanta
  • Austin
  • Baltimore
  • Cancun
  • Chicago (Midway)
  • Dallas (Love Field)
  • Denver
  • Fort Lauderdale
  • Fort Myers
  • Houston
  • Kansas City
  • Las Vegas
  • Miami
  • Myrtle Beach
  • Nashville
  • Orlando
  • Phoenix
  • San Diego
  • Sarasota/Bradenton
  • St. Louis
  • Tampa
  • Washington (Reagan National)

These service enhancements make traveling even more convenient for Columbus passengers.
