Central Ohio Pastor Indicted on 23 Charges of Sexual Abuse Involving Teen

A pastor based in Columbus, Ohio, has been indicted on multiple counts related to the sexual abuse of a teenage girl, according to court records.

The Pickaway County Court of Common Pleas has filed a 23-count indictment against Dominic Foor, 39, who is facing:

  • 11 counts of sexual battery
  • 6 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor
  • 6 counts of importuning

The alleged abuse began on November 3, 2022, when the victim was just 15 years old, and continued until November 26, 2024. The incidents reportedly took place at a residence on Lockbourne Eastern Road in Ashville, Ohio.

According to Captain Johnathan Strawser of the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, the case has been under investigation since the initial report was made on November 28, 2024.

At the time the incidents occurred, Foor was a pastor at Pathway Apostolic Church in Columbus. Church representatives have confirmed he left that role in March 2024 and currently leads New Direction Church on Parsons Avenue.

On Tuesday, Foor appeared in court and was issued a $250,000 bond by a local judge.

This developing case continues to raise concerns about safeguarding measures within religious organizations.
