1 Critically Injured in Franklinton stabbing
A serious stabbing incident took place in the Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus on Sunday evening, leaving one person critically injured. The Columbus Division of Police responded to a call just after 5:40 p.m. in the 900 block of Bellows Avenue, near Sullivant Avenue.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The injured individual was rushed to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, but is expected to survive.
Currently, authorities have not released any information about a suspect. Columbus Police’s Felony Assault Unit is leading the investigation and urging anyone with information to come forward.
