
Darlynn Sue Buehler, Missing Circleville Woman, Found Dead in Pickaway County Retention Pond
Columbus, Ohio – Authorities have confirmed the discovery of Darlynn Sue Buehler, a 58-year-old woman from Circleville, who had been missing since April 1. Buehler’s body and vehicle were found submerged in a retention pond off Intermodal Court East in Harrison Township, just south of Rickenbacker International Airport, on Wednesday, May 7.
Buehler was reported missing by her employer, J.B. Hunt, based in Columbus, Ohio. The case was initially investigated by the Circleville Police Department, which led law enforcement to a series of retention ponds near Route 762 East (Duvall Road) in Pickaway County.
The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office worked with the Columbus Division of Police Underwater Search and Rescue Unit, who searched multiple ponds in the logistics park area. Buehler’s vehicle was located in one of the northern ponds, where both her body and car were submerged.
The Pickaway County Coroner’s Office pronounced Buehler dead at the scene. The cause of death has not yet been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
