Ohio State Maintains No. 1 in CFP Rankings

Ohio State continues its dominant run this season, holding onto the No. 1 spot in the latest College Football Playoff (CFP) rankings after improving to a flawless 10–0 record. The Buckeyes opened the CFP rankings at No. 1 and have now secured the top position for three consecutive weeks.

Right behind Ohio State is Indiana at No. 2, followed by Texas A&M at No. 3 and Georgia at No. 4, as the race toward the 12-team postseason intensifies.

The CFP committee will release updated rankings every Tuesday leading up to the official playoff bracket reveal on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Ohio State’s commanding win over UCLA last Saturday further solidified its position as the nation’s top-ranked team. The Buckeyes now prepare to host Rutgers this Saturday at noon before heading to Ann Arbor for the highly anticipated rivalry matchup against Michigan to close out the regular season.

Indiana also impressed this week with a strong 31–7 victory over Wisconsin, boosting the Hoosiers to an 11–0 record. They will enter a bye this week before facing Purdue on Nov. 28.

Currently, Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, and Georgia hold the four coveted first-round byes in the expanded 12-team playoff model. The five highest-ranked conference champions also remain guaranteed playoff spots.
