Father Arrested After Stabbing Son in East Columbus, Police Confirm
Columbus, Ohio – A heartbreaking incident occurred late Friday night in East Columbus when a man was fatally stabbed and his father taken into custody. According to Columbus police, the incident happened on the 1100 block of Barlowe Run Drive, near North Waggoner Road, around 10:45 p.m.
Responding officers found 24-year-old Vincent Wilburn with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at 11:00 p.m. on the scene.
His father, 54-year-old Christopher Wilburn, was arrested and later confessed to the stabbing during a police interview, according to Franklin County Municipal Court records. He has been charged with murder.
