1 Person Critically Injured in East Columbus Crash on East Broad Street
A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in east Columbus on Saturday morning, according to local public safety officials.
Police responded to reports of a pedestrian-involved crash around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Broad Street and Edgevale Road, near the Bexley area.
Authorities said the victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition following the incident. Officials have not confirmed whether the driver involved remained at the scene after the crash.
As crews responded to the emergency, East Broad Street was temporarily closed between Lowell Road and North Harding Road. The roadway has since reopened to traffic.
The incident remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released at this time.
