Police say Phillip Baker and passenger Taryn Vargundy were riding a motorcycle when they collided with a Honda Accord. Vargundy was pronounced dead at the scene, and Baker later died at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
Just hours later, 20-year-old Michael Hollinger died after losing control of his motorcycle on State Route 315 near West North Broadway around 12:30 a.m. on October 19. The motorcycle became unstable, throwing Hollinger onto the roadway. He was taken to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
