President Donald Trump Adds Gold-Script Signage Outside of Oval Office
As President Donald Trump left the Oval Office on Wednesday for his trip to Florida, reporters quickly noticed a new addition to the White House — a gold-script sign marking “The Oval Office.”
Placed beside the entrance near the Rose Garden, the signage was reportedly printed on paper and taped to the wall, according to photos and videos shared online.
The new sign is the latest in a string of modifications Trump has made to the White House and its surrounding areas. He recently replaced the Rose Garden’s grass with stone pavers, giving it a patio appearance reminiscent of his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Trump also introduced a “Presidential Walk of Fame” along the colonnade, featuring portraits of all former U.S. presidents — except Joe Biden. Inside, he oversaw a remodel of the Lincoln Bathroom and redecorated the Oval Office with gold accents and framed portraits.
In addition, reports indicate that the East Wing has been demolished to make way for a new ballroom designed to host major events, despite earlier assurances that the existing structure would remain intact.
