Columbus Police Seek Help Identifying Young Boy Found in Hilltop Neighborhood

Authorities in Columbus are asking the community for assistance in identifying a young boy found in the Hilltop neighborhood early Thursday morning.

According to Franklin County Children Services (FCCS), Columbus police located the child, believed to be between 10 and 12 years old, walking near the intersection of Demorest Road and Sullivant Avenue around 1 a.m. The boy is non-verbal and has been unable to provide his name or personal information.

FCCS caseworkers are currently ensuring the child’s safety while efforts continue to identify him.
