
Several Hospitalized After Early Morning Crash Involving COTA Bus in East Columbus
Several people were hospitalized early Sunday morning following a serious crash involving a Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) bus in East Columbus.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, the collision occurred around 12:19 a.m. at the intersection of Parsons Avenue and East Town Street. Authorities confirmed that at least five people were transported to local hospitals with varying injuries.
Three victims were taken to Grant Medical Center — one in critical condition, another in serious condition, and a third in stable condition. Two additional victims were transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
Columbus police are currently investigating the cause of the crash. Updates will be provided as more details become available.
