Two Dead after Motorcycle and Car Crash at Roberts and Hilliard Rome Roads in West Columbus
Two people lost their lives following a tragic crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle in West Columbus on Saturday evening.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers responded to the scene at the intersection of Roberts Road and Hilliard Rome Road shortly after 7 p.m. following reports of a serious collision.
Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition but were later pronounced dead, one at 7:17 p.m. and the other at 7:30 p.m. The intersection was temporarily closed as authorities conducted an investigation into the cause of the crash.
Further details, including the identities of the victims and what led to the collision, have not yet been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
