Columbus North Side Bar Shut Down After Shootings and Illegal Alcohol Sales
A bar located on Columbus’ North Side has been ordered closed following multiple police investigations linking the establishment to shootings, violent incidents, and illegal alcohol sales, according to the Columbus City Attorney’s Office.
City Attorney Zach Klein announced that a Franklin County Municipal Court judge issued an emergency order shutting down the business due to ongoing public safety concerns.
The closure order targets Kulture Lounge, also known as Kulture Café & Bar, located at 1005 Mediterranean Avenue, just north of East Dublin Granville Road.
The decision was issued ex-parte by Judge Stephanie Mingo after authorities presented evidence of repeated criminal activity and violations tied to the venue.
