Elon Musk, Tim Cook and Other Top CEOs Accompany President Donald Trump to China
President Donald Trump arrived in China alongside a high-profile delegation of American business leaders, highlighting the growing importance of trade, artificial intelligence and geopolitical negotiations between the worldโs two largest economies.
Among the executives traveling with Trump were Elon Musk and Jensen Huang, both of whom lead companies with significant business interests in China.
According to reports, Musk and Huang traveled aboard Air Force One with Trump as the administration prepares for discussions with Xi Jinping. The talks are expected to focus on trade relations, artificial intelligence cooperation, and tensions involving Iran.
The delegation also includes several prominent U.S. executives, including Tim Cook, Stephen Schwarzman, Larry Fink, and Kelly Ortberg.
Other business leaders reportedly attending meetings in Beijing include executives from Qualcomm, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Micron Technology, GE Aerospace and Cargill.
The visit comes as major American companies continue balancing business opportunities in China against ongoing trade disputes and national security concerns between Washington and Beijing.
Huangโs presence is especially notable as Nvidia remains a central player in the global artificial intelligence boom through its advanced semiconductor technology.
Trump later confirmed Huangโs attendance in a social media post, saying he intends to encourage China to expand economic opportunities for American companies operating in the country.
