Red, White & BOOM 2026!
Thousands of people are expected to gather in downtown Columbus for the annual Red, White & BOOM! celebration, one of the largest Independence Day events in Ohio.
The annual tradition features a spectacular fireworks display, live entertainment, food vendors and family-friendly activities. The event draws visitors from across the state who come together to celebrate the 4th of July.
As crowds fill downtown streets, organizers encourage attendees to arrive early, plan for road closures and use designated parking areas or public transportation whenever possible.
Public safety officials will have an increased presence throughout the event to help manage traffic, assist visitors and ensure a safe celebration for everyone attending.
The highlight of the evening is the fireworks show, which lights up the downtown Columbus skyline and has become a signature Independence Day tradition for Central Ohio residents.
